Wrapping

Wrapping process use prepreg fabrics (80% 0° fiber and 20% 90° fiber)

Fabrics is cut after thawing in function of the template piece. After that fabrics are rolled around a mandrel. The machinery realize the compaction of fabrics.

Technical informations :

. We have different diameter 8 mm of 80 mm (tol +/- 0.05 mm internal diameter
and tom +/- 0.1 mm external diameter).

The material is compacted winding a thermoplastic film along the mandrel. After the curing step, the composite part is extracted from the mould (specific machine) and cut to the lenght.
